Egg races

WALT: think about my purpose and reader by planning my recount.


Yesterday we did a difficult egg race. We had to race to one side of the park to the other swithing it over to our partner. It was fun watching them.

Before the race had started it was nervrackikng. All of us was scared because we might have cracked the egg. We were all ready to start some of us were shivering saying “ i’m going to drop it”.


The race had began our partners were taking there time trying not to drop it. Some were close to finishing 1 team of partners droped there egg just before they finished. My partner Alfa was slow and steady zig -zaging through the park  he had finished.


It was now challenging for as it is my turn. It took the spoon and placed the egg gently  on the spoon. I went off walking over the old wodden brown platforms in the park I was finding it difficult to try not to drop. When i was close to finishing the difficult egg race I run a little bit.


It was funny and difficult. This was really a challenging walking over old wodden brown platforms the egg was fragile i was really gentle. Some of us bumbed into each other.

Today we learnt how to write purpose. To write our paragraph we did egg racing, we learnt how to write about our topic and don't write about something else.

Tau's Loofahs

WALT:Learn and use new Vocab
Today we learnt how to write a review about our original task. We partnered up with our classmates and discussed the questions that we were given. Today it was about loofahs how we use them, what they are a rate for the loofahs, so what would your review be about the amazing loofahs sold and the beautiful place Samoa. Please leave a comment or feedback of what I need to work on.

What am i ?

WALT: Use our inferencing skills to find meaning in the text.
For a little writing/reading activity, we wrote poems that explained something when it sounded like something else. We paired up and wrote a poem that was like an example that we saw. I tried this to some people and they guessed it in the end. I hope that you can try to guess it and get it right

Team 4 Market Day


WALT: write an interesting and detailed recount

Last week we had a  team 4 market day on friday aspart of the topic of the term Trade and enterprise. Everyone got to buy everyones product with PTs and peices. PTs and peices is our currency we have 20 pecies, 50 peices, 1 pt and 2 pt.

There are 6 different groups and they are Homeware, Toys, Kitchen, Jewelry, Custom stationery and Musical intruments. For Trade and Enterprise, my group is making food products so that means i’m in kitchen. We are making sweets like Cups of Hot chips. In my group are Tevita and me. We get on well together because we are best friends we also are off task sometimes but we get work done. We are hoping to sell 15 cups of Hot chips. Each cup of Hot chips is going to be sold for 2 PT.

To set up where we were going to cook we decided to set up by the class window because we needed to use the frying pan. We only used 2 desks. 1 desk was for the frying pan and the other desk was for all the PTs and the preparation.

When i went to go buy something from the trade and enterprise groups i bought a badge, pencil label and a sport maths book cover from the custom stationary and i also brought 11 loom band from the Jewelry and accessories, and i also brought 2 ice blocks from the kitchen.

Whan I was maning the station me and my buddy sold at least I think 12 cups of Hot Chips. We had only 1 full container and a half full container half of the chips were already in the frying pans. He had 1 customer miss out because we had sold out really fast.

The market day was very exiting because we all had lots of fun. we also bought lots of things like pencil label a drum loom bands slime and much more. The market day was the bomb.

Task of description:
I have learnt how to make sense, and use proper English. I also had help with my friends, I learnt how to use language to make my recount more interesting. I made my story my interesting my using more new words. Please leave a comment or feedback.
